Albert Einstein once said, "You cannot solve your problems at the same level of thinking you were at when you created them."  I help businesses and individuals to elevate their level of thinking so that they may correct the problems they have created for themselves and experience a more fulfilling existence.

My philosophy is very simple and can be summed up in four basic principles which I refer to as The Gaughan Code or alternatively The Code of The One Man Think Tank.

#1 ~ Create Value

Everything I do is driven by this motto. I strive to improve things, to help people
and to leave things better than I found them.

#2 ~ Work only with people I trust and respect and that trust and respect me

Life is too short to do otherwise.  I am fortunate to be able to be selective about the individuals and companies with whom I choose to invest my efforts.

#3 ~ Have fun while pursuing our common objective

Again, Life is too short.  If you and I are not having fun while pursuing our objectives together, what is the point?  That is not to say that there won’t be painful days.  Growth and change always involves a certain amount of discomfort, but by and large, the enjoyment of pursuing the goals must outweigh the pain.

#4 ~ Realize a return on investment

Ultimately there needs to be some kind of return on investment for efforts and monies invested by all parties concerned. 
This does not always mean a financial return, but there needs to be some sort of
positive return for your efforts or why pursue it.
